Stop dickriding people who are silent about their own country's fascism based on what you imagine they might privately think. Just in general, stop doing that. Fanfiction is fine until you pretend it's real.,

I would love to see a purple or red state Dem as the nominee. Honestly, if Ossoff and Warnock weren't from the same state, they'd make a great ticket.

The DOJ brings in JAGs to cover. 5. A JAG was just held in contempt and fined $500/day for ICE's failures.

This is a stark departure from common practice in journalism. Looks like an attempt to punish AOC for having the temerity to talk overseas. If the NY Times quoted everyone like this – not cleaning up stammers, repeated words and "um" – its quotations would look much different. They'd be a mess.

Their "more efficient" process than having writers write: • AI identifies possible stories • Reporters do further reporting and produce notes • Another person uses AI to generate a story from the notes, then rewrites/"tweaks" • Another person fact-checks/edits • Reporter reviews

Some adults need to let go of their resentment over who they perceived was overvalued compared to them in high school and yes I am looking at folks who throw a fit over the promotion of STEM studies. Science is under attack from the right, you are not being progressive by joining them.

Calling the requirement for a judicial warrant before entering a person’s home one of the Democrats’ “new restrictions on federal immigration agents” crosses the line into outright falsehood. It’s in the Bill of Rights! A rule as old as the republic.
