Doing some research for a commission and realized that the kaiju bully Gabara from All Monsters Attack was probably designed to look like Butch, the bully from Little Rascals. I mean just look at them!

I really adore that by the implication of artwork like this and the narrative logic of the stock footage in All Monsters Attack, Godzilla and Ebirah will just NOT fucking leave each other alone.

Really strong first episode! Reminded me of a cross between Pee-Wee's Playhouse and Don't Hug me I'm Scared, while having its own unique voice and sense of humour topped off with life-affirming music. Also ain't no way I'm simping for TeeVee the TV. 💀
