I’m 56 years old, and for my whole life we’ve been asking some version of the question “what would WE, our generation, have done to stop the Nazis, either in Germany as they were rising, or around the world to fight for freedom. Now we’re answering the question in real time. Each of us & all of us.

In addition - the vast majority of diagnoses do *not* end with someone claiming a disability benefit or entering unemployment! Most people getting a diagnosis do in fact just successfully get a reasonable adjustment from their employers or make a lifestyle change and carry on with their lives.

Look how visibly excited Robert Jenrick is by his brilliance as a statesman; how high on his own supply. It is astonishing that this bitter, angry, talentless bingo-caller is considered a serious prospect in a major party. If he or Badenoch are the best they can do, what does it say about the rest?

Why do trains in the UK cost so much at peak hours? It's mostly NOT due to privatisation It is because the UK state has not invested enough in its network to up capacity, and even today does not subsidise operations very much Want to be like 🇨🇭, 🇦🇹, 🇳🇱? POUR IN MORE MONEY

Tax and benefit measures announced this Parliament so far benefit children the most. This is due to the abolition of the two-child limit, the expansion of Free School Meals to children in families receiving UC in England, and the above-inflation increases to the UC standard allowance.

If the cost of living crisis won’t move this government, maybe the collapse of their climate programme will. After 35 years of privatisation: - No new major water reservoirs built - 3bn litres lost to leaks every day - £85bn taken in dividends. Public ownership is the only credible fix.
