This scene took place in Cathedral City (Ca) at a ARCO gas station. A man verbally assaulted another customer over a misunderstanding, threatening him with calling ICE on him. It further escalated to insults and death threats.

It was reprehensible when people mocked condom usage at the height of the AIDS pandemic. It is just as depraved to mock those wearing masks to reduce the spread of airborne viruses today. Whenever someone takes any kind of step to protect public health, they should be applauded, not mocked.

Poverty is a policy choice. Concentrated wealth is a policy choice. Inequality is a policy choice. None of it is natural or inevitable. Remember: We have the power to build a system that serves the many, not the powerful few.
