Trump pardoned Jaime Davidson, convicted for the murder of a Syracuse police officer during a drug-related robbery. He was found guilty of orchestrating the crime. Since his release, Davidson’s been convicted of domestic battery involving the strangulation of his wife in Orlando.

Whatever your opinion about the Hunter Biden pardon, if it gets more attention than the Kash Patel nomination, it is one more instance of a failure to distinguish between fundamental and trivial threats to the rule of law.

War is heinous, no matter what. But growing up, I had a sense of pride that we were the good guys because we FOUGHT Nazi’s. Now we can’t even out-vote Nazi’s at home. I’m old, but I’m too young to have felt the peace of the fall of the Berlin Wall and now this fear 35 years later. This is stupidity.

We are living in a gun epidemic …. Guns have long been a part of the American culture, woven into the historical cloth that makes up the fabric of our Nation. But in the last 25 years it has become our trademark. And it’s out of control. And tragic.
