Commissioner Will McKay [D-WA] was charged with a felony & two misdemeanors for tailgating a driver into a parking lot, bear-hugging them, taking their phone to delete a video of him and then fleeing the scene during an Oct. 2025 incident. Violence is a feature and not a bug in Trump's GOP.

Fmr. State Rep. Austin Smith [R-AZ] was sentenced to 2 years of probation, fined $5k and can't run for office for 5 years for forging "rows" of voter signatures on petitions he filed to qualify for his 2024 primary. The self-described "election integrity warrior" sure got off the hook pretty easy.

Fmr. State AG candidate Frank Mylar [R-UT] pleaded guilty to trying to bribe his competitor with a job at the office if they dropped out of the race and endorsed him. His sweetheart deal will erase his record entirely if he doesn't get in trouble for the rest of 2026. What an abomination.

We tracked a grand total of 154 crimes committed by prominent Republicans in 2025. As we head into 2026, we will continue to hold Republicans in government, media & business accountable for their criminal actions and expose their crimes for all to see that Republicans simply can't be trusted.

#154/2025 State Rep. Bill Allemand [R-WY] drunkenly crashed into another vehicle with an open beer can in his console. He's a member of his party's right-wing freedom hating caucus. Our last crime tracked from 2025. 154 found in total. Ready for 2026.

Among the many Republican crimes we tracked in 2025, 20 of them were DUIs. One pissed their pants, two had a BAC more than 3 times the legal limit, two had firearms on them, one passed out in the middle of the road, two were Sheriffs and many drove recklessly including one into oncoming traffic.

#153/2025 Fmr. Governor candidate Jay Lucas [R-NH] was charged with running a $50M Ponzi scheme that used investor money to bankroll a lavish lifestyle instead of the health and wellness companies he convinced them it was for. Republicans can't be trusted to do the right thing. Ever.

Fmr. county GOP treasurer Blake Cozzens [R-UT] was sentenced to two years in prison and fined over $2 million for stealing millions from multiple homeowner associations that he managed. Yet another reason why you can't trust Republicans with your hard-earned money.

#152/2025 County treasurer Nick Africano [R-IL] was charged with disorderly conduct after he dramatically escalated a minor traffic dispute by threatening to shoot the other individual. This guy needs some anger management classes. Violence is never the answer.

County clerk Mike Foley [R-TX] was sentenced to a mere two years probation after pleading guilty to two misdemeanors despite initially facing seven felonies for steering public contracts to his connections and pressuring public employees for campaign contributions. An outrageous slap on the wrist.

#151/2025 County commissioner Mitch Curtis [R-TX] was charged with felony impersonation of a public servant after he falsely claimed to be law enforcement and ordered his neighbor to stop firing guns on his own property. He impersonated cops while his party claims to worship them. Peak hypocrisy.

Of course the domestic terrorist charged with planting pipe bombs outside both DNC and RNC headquarters the night before 1/6 is a far-right 2020 truther who believed Trump’s lie about a stolen election. Republican silence now that he’s exposed as one of theirs tell you all you need to know.

County GOP Chair Kelly Giles [R-TX] pled guilty to attempted election fraud after he falsely certified on his application and nominating petition that he was legally eligible to run for office He didn't "attempt" election fraud. He did it. Another Republican hypocrite getting off easy.

#150/2025 Fmr. Georgia GOP assistant secretary Ja’Quon Stembridge allegedly solicited someone he thought was a 14-year-old boy over an app and went to meet them in a parking lot only to be confronted by an adult man instead. Republicans are the real predators we need to protect children from.
