After £2500 plus bill for a gearbox, clutch and dual mass flywheel wheel. A new battery and new wipers, my Z4 is finally driving like it should and my word, it's fabulous. Today I sorted the leather seats and cleaned, polished the exterior. Looks fab, drives great and ready for a european road trip.

Did a start up and running to temperature on the 48 Riley today. Once petrol was in the chambers it ran really strongly. Very pleased.

Had a lovely day off work yesterday to celebrate Thing 1's graduation. We are so proud of his attitude to his work, both in uni and in the wider world. His work ethic is amazing. Really thankful that so many of his family and friends could join us too.

Passing a primary school en route this morning named after Jules Berry, a famous French actor who was described as "Bombastic, extravagant amd whimsical" and now I want to be this too. Sounds magnificent.
