Yeah but its not as simple as just keeping one shape darker than the shape behind it. Just as a micro example here you can see the way I intentionally shift which value is light and which is dark within the same shape. I try to find and capitalize on every opportunity I can for this sorta thing.

I'm only going to say this once because I'm too tired: ICE is a bipartisan venture. Fascism is just an empire's violence turned on its own people. Fascism has never been defeated in the voting booth, you have to dismantle it. You have to organize and fight. It is literally socialism or barbarism.
