I started working life with an electronics & computing apprenticeship before working for an engineering company and then med school. Now Professor of Neonatology & Technologies...

fn.bmj.com/content/earl... in 2023, 71% of all UK births had access to servo controlled therapeutic hypothermia in their birth centre & on every neonatal transport. However, that leaves up to 377 infants with HIE needing to wait for the transport team to arrive. Time to reduce these inequalities.

Sometimes it's the little things that make the difference. In every kitchen area we've done away with kettle and have instant boiling water on tap. With up to 100 staff per day making hot drinks amazing how much time is saved waiting for the kettle to boil! #NHSefficiency Bear seems happy!
