Well thank f*ck, we did get out for a ride today. Was touch and go there for a minute. And just from my point of view, them's perty rides.

I'd like to thank @cpaone.bsky.social, @iaincmgray.bsky.social, and @docsavage88.bsky.social for the invigorating philosophical conversation this morning. Not what I normally wake up to. But it really motivated me today, the end results was taking bull by horns and getting out on bike.

Three weeks to a month ahead of my rehab schedule, I got back to riding. It was a hard rehab and I still have more to do. But I got out on the bike. It felt so great, no worries about the weight. Back to be on two wheels. Damn, that was amazing. I'm so fucking stoked! 😁

Sitting on an NX500 at the Honda dealership, leaning the bike, testing my leg against the weight, the bike felt light. So, I'm going to take my bike off the center stand and see how that feels. Its very ossible I am going for a ride this afternoon.

I have bone unification. The bones on either side of the fractured tibial plateau have healed as one. Will see the Doc one more time next summer, just to check on my overall knee health. Discussed my plan for rehab, which he agreed with. Traded a fist bump and got on my way. Motorcyle soon, Baby!

Oh, so trumpleforeskin said the existing structure of the white house wouldn't be damaged, and then he ripped into the east wing... So he lied. Again. What a shocker!

Its crazy to me that retrumplicans constantly live outside the law and flagrantly break the rules, while democrats (and decent folk throughout the country) attempt to mount a fight while living within them. It won't work of course and until they realize it, America will remain lost.

I walked 3km (2 miles) in 40 minutes non-stop, without a cane or supports. Now, could I go further, yes. Could I go faster. Not yet. Speed equals less stability, risking knee valgus (bendy hard inward conducive to ickiness). But half way through week 13 post injury, there is ongoing improvement. 😁

Walked a kilometer at 100% weight bearing, no crutches, no cane, just me, walking. Now, was it graceful? Was it pretty? Why, no. No it wasnt. But they were proper heal to toe, good gait, getting after it steps. 3 months post wreckage.
