I try to avoid doom and gloom and god knows games journalism has seen its share of challenges, but at this stage it's probably worth thinking about what else you can bring to the table, because it's hard to see games journalism "bouncing back" in any form that's useful after this.

attended a panel yesterday where a moderator tried to tell media the talk would be "off the record" and I am begging folks to internalize that it does not work that way. off the record is agreed to, not just thrown out for blanket protection. companies like twitch and meta especially know this
