Not problematic, but interesting that the only German soldiers we encounter are the faceless fanatic kind, who will happily hang around near a broken bridge on the off chance they might be able to shoot somebody trying to cross it, or indeed stab the bloke that's trying to put their burning leg out.

Fantastic episode. Amazed you coaxed John back after the treatment you gave his favourite film last time! Once you can make peace with the total implausibility of the entire plot, it is a fantastic film. Think the trench run bit is my least favourite part though.
