Currently one of my favourite podcasts and yes "Aliens" is definitely a war movie..

HURRAH!

... and its really hard to tell someone off when you are trying not to laugh.

Back in the early 90's I was working as an Usher in a Multiplex, we showed Aliens as a midnight showing... Lots of people came dressed up. But someone snuck a 1.1 scale rubber facehugger model... and threw it at his friend during the showing. We could hear the screams from outside.

So much material for family arguments.

It is possible that this meme is discussed, yes.

Paul Heinreid was actually an absolutely genius bit of deliberate miscasting. Obviously Victor is a sexier character than Rick, what with all the resistance and escaping from concentration camps, so they got the stiffest, unsexiest ironing board of an actor to play him...
