Remember what I said about how Twitter is useless for self-promotion even if you have a big following there? There's data showing BlueSky, even with smaller user numbers, generates way more referrals than Twitter purely because it doesn't suppress links. Stop saying you need Twitter for promotion.

On the list of silly things I've done recently: I've now won 100 games of Klondike solitaire. Added to the list of "things I'm only somewhat crap at". If nothing else it's a good exercise in how to acquire skills and expertise.

Bluesky is a great site but you have to unlearn EVERYTHING Twitter has ever taught you to make it useable. Repost yourself. Interact with others. Use tags. Use feeds. Be kind and find kindness. Comment away. It's really really freeing.
