I keep seeing disparaging remarks about dance in regard to the TikTok ban. So like sh*tting on an art form that made the app popular is not a great argument for why TikTok has no value. Sincerely, a DANCING performance artist who just lost her entire community.

Apps are communities… we share our loves, hopes, fears, and dreams… When you lose a community that is a real loss It’s okay to mourn those losses

It's BS that TikTok was shut down. I say that as someone who only used it infrequently. I write a lot about national security—and found the national security arguments against TikTok to be surprisingly weak. Terms of service and explicit waivers could've been used to inform users of their situation.
