Imagine being the person who cut both Taxi Driver and Star Wars, two of the best edited films ever made! Her brilliant career feels infuriatingly brief, cut short by the stress of working with one of the most difficult friend groups in Hollywood history.

One of the greats. When I learned about how she edited the Death Star scene at the end of Star Wars, it really opened my eyes as to how films work.

I'm not sure why Disney is changing the "future" scene in the Carousel of Progress. The current one, which was installed in the 1970s, actually got the future right. The VR game is shit and the voice-activated oven doesn't work right. 50 years later, it's clear that they totally nailed it.
