Grief isn't a linear path, but most days are a bit easier than the one before it. Still miss my sweet Dimmy Mimmy like mad, though. Did you know that while I was still sick and weak from dealing with The Tumour From Hell, she decided I was so helpless that she started grooming my hair?

As is typical when we've lost a pet, the apartment feels emptier without Mim. I'm glad my sweet baby girl isn't struggling and suffering anymore, but oh fuck, how I miss her!

It's a struggle to get Mimmy to eat much. A few licks at a time. At this point we're trying to get her meds into her too, but food and water are more of a priority. If she gets even some of her meds, great, I'll take it. But I'm more concerned with getting her to eat anything.

Mimmy update - No real change overnight. Still struggle to get her to, she still seems out of sorts, and the only joy we really got to see from her yesterday is when we stuck a leash and harness on her and took her outside for a little. Yeah, pretty sure we'll be saying goodbye soon.

By the way, this is Mim, when she was much younger and chonkier and with a functioning thyroid and kidneys.

Couldn't wear my CPAP for the whole night, but I did wear it for 4+ hours last night, and it seems to have cut my apneic events from 40 to 4. That's a 90% improvement! Still getting used to it, of course, but I'm encouraged by those results.
