Qikiqtania attempts to prevent brother Tiktaalik from making a terrible mistake. Unlike Tiktaalik, Qikiqtania remained waterbound and could not support its weight on land.

Cafe at The Portland art museum has Rothko no. 5 cakes. Something intellectually meaty about seeing the painting in person, and then eating a cake copy. The complete experience. Full spectrum.

It’s probably weird to say that, but I do have a lot of personal attachment to cockroaches. When I draw 1 roach, there are always another 10 more I wanna do! But there’s only so much canvas space so I had to make choices … swipe to see the species list!

"average possum eats 5000 ticks a week" factoid actualy just statistical error. average possum eats 0 ticks per week. Lyme Georg, who hung out in a laboratory for 96 hours in 2009 & eats over 10,000 each day, is an outlier adn should not have been counted

Reassessing the opossum-tick relationship: Is it a good idea to attract opossum's to your yard?
It seems like every social media exchange where the topic of ticks or opossums comes up, I see a meme or photo glorifying the opossum and saying they will keep

i think that in about 25 years the locus of workwear fashionization (à la the jumpsuit, the leather boot, the blue jean) will, after its present dalliance with cowboyism, fall on the cleanroom suit

Trying to make happy art again... I added another family of stargazers off in the distance. I was at Crater Lake once and wondered if animals took time to enjoy the beauty of their surroundings and at that moment a pika climbed to the tip of a volcanic spire and just looked out at the valley.

to whoever keeps making the prediction markets about whether or not I'll spill my coffee in my car: stop. people keep swerving into me because of this. I think the ladies at my dunkin are getting in on it too because they told me they "don't do lids anymore" and I know that's not true.
