Nyctosaurus ~ night lizard 🌌🦎 . 4/5 complete! . I looked at a lot of modern day sea birds for inspiration of this design and I noticed a lot had simple colour palettes or strong lines so I felt this would be suitable for this pterosaur…but I couldn’t resist a flourish of colour on the crest tips!

Tupandactylus ~ Tupan finger 🇧🇷👈🏼 . 3/5 complete! . I did originally think about putting a big ‘eye spot’ in the head crest of this pterosaur but I thought it would be interesting to look at how colours and subtle patterning could play a part in its display 👁️

Dsungaripterus ~ Junggar basin wing 🇨🇳🪽 . It was really exciting to come up with a colour scheme/pattern that included so much colour!! I got a lot of inspiration from hornbills and toucans . What do you guys think?
