Velociraptor & Protoceratops ~ ‘Mongolian Survival’ 🦅🇲🇳 . I unveiled this new design at @dinoconuk.bsky.social This is the first time I’ve combined two figures together to make a scene and I felt that the iconic fossil of these two would be perfect subject matter to try this out! #paleoart

Now…I’m REALLY excited about this piece! . I loved how my recent pterosaur collection turned out and I didn’t really want to stop there, and now I’m taking a closer look at smaller pterosaurs hanging out together! . The sketch is complete, so now onto blocking the shapes out ✍🏼

Thalassodromeus ~ sea runner 🌊🏃🏽‍♀️ . The pterosaur collection is complete! . This guy is the conclusion of my first series of pterosaurs…and I think it’s my favourite design!

Nyctosaurus ~ night lizard 🌌🦎 . 4/5 complete! . I looked at a lot of modern day sea birds for inspiration of this design and I noticed a lot had simple colour palettes or strong lines so I felt this would be suitable for this pterosaur…but I couldn’t resist a flourish of colour on the crest tips!

Tupandactylus ~ Tupan finger 🇧🇷👈🏼 . 3/5 complete! . I did originally think about putting a big ‘eye spot’ in the head crest of this pterosaur but I thought it would be interesting to look at how colours and subtle patterning could play a part in its display 👁️

Dsungaripterus ~ Junggar basin wing 🇨🇳🪽 . It was really exciting to come up with a colour scheme/pattern that included so much colour!! I got a lot of inspiration from hornbills and toucans . What do you guys think?

Yangchuanosaurus ~ Yangchuan lizard 🇨🇳🦎 . I imagined this dinosaur would be prowling through a dark and dense forest so I went with a colour palette and pattern that would benefit this predator but also have flashy flourishes for identification 🌳🌲 . What do you guys think?
