I was fortunate enough back in 2015 to meet and chat at length with Ron Campbell, the Australian animator who helped create both the cartoon show and artwork for Yellow Submarine. He was delightful, and drew me my very own Jeremy Hillary Boob! Especially meaningful since my dad was an animator. ❤️

Welp, the short version is, I'm not in remission, and the spots which remain are "brighter", which means a good probability of progression at some point. Starting a new 3-infusion round of a very new drug, Elahere, in a couple weeks. Can't let my pre-ordered books go to waste, after all. 😏

Joseph Conrad, “Heart of Darkness and the Secret Sharer” (Signet, 1950), with uncredited, unsigned cover art. Seems likely that the artist here is the great Milton Glaser, who produced numerous Signet covers back in the day. Looks like his work, anyway.

Same here. I may go for long stretches as a lurker, but I love interacting with authors, artists, scientists, often within the same fandoms. We even bought a rice cooker on the recommendation of one of my favorite authors! (It's great! 😄)
