If “The Mandalorian & Grogu” underperforms, then I think that “Mandoverse/Heir to the Empire” project should just be animated. Maul: Shadow Lord shows how Lucasfilm is just on another level now animation wise. Also, it allows younger Luke, Leia, & Han to appear without recasting controversy.

Picked up the 4K boxset of the classic Agatha Christie films whilst I was out and about, so it's a Murder of the Orient Express night. My favourite version, though I'm actually fond of the Branagh version. Just a shame Suchet, the best Poirot, didn't do an especially good take on *the* Poirot book.

I have finally completed Thunderhead by Preston & Child. Final thoughts: It's a enjoyable, fun novel that's also somewhat marred by an increasing degree of inconsistency with how the authors flesh out their plot points, amongst other issues.

Just because I passionately hate James Cameron's need to add revisionist colour timing to his movies, I bought Aliens Special Edition on DVD so I can watch a more appealing version of the movie. The blu ray is now just for its glut of special features.

Almost halfway through and this hasn't changed much beyond a few ominous bits of foreshadowing, a murder, and a very brief chapter from the "skinwalkers'" POV that didn't really add much. That said, the journey through the canyons of Utah along a lost Anasazi road has been fun, if harrowing.
