My wife walked in on Alien Resurrection when the fucked up hybrid baby thing showed up, she fell in love with it and then was heartbroken to see it die incredibly violently.

Haven't seen Romulus but this is my ranking of the first 6 Alien movies. Alien > Alien³ > Aliens > Covenant > Prometheus > Resurrection

If you cut Alien Resurrection down to like 30 or 40 minutes you'd probably have a good movie. It has lots of good scenes and then it becomes the most boring movie ever in the downtime between them.

It's kinda fucked up that multiple times a year people do something that we know terrifies animals and we just don't care cause it's pretty.

I never want to tell other people's kids to shut up but I wish my apartment had better soundproofing cause I can barely hear anything I watch on TV when they're playing right outside my window. Thank god for subtitles.

For what it's worth I kinda like the premise of Alien Resurrection. Like in any other franchise it'd be ridiculous and terrible but we've already seen 3 movies by this point that show how Weyland-Yutani will do anything to get that creature. Plus it's the far future My problem is more the execution
