Anybody have tips for blending garlic confit and its oil together? I made spaghetti aglio e olio tonight with the garlic confit I made, which I blended with my immersion blender beforehand. It never seemed to emulsify.

Made garlic confit for the first time tonight. I’m not sure if the baking dish I used was great for the task, but I think it worked? I let it cool and put it in the fridge in a jar covered in its own oil. Tomorrow, I’m going to blend some of it to make a confit aglio olio.

The production doesn’t give clear enough guidelines about when callbacks are allowed, so there are times when the audience is obviously throwing off or angering a performer.
