This book has the best art in all of v5 imo!! If they do a v5.5 or a v6 I would hope that they really embrace what they did in this book.

The more I play Blades in the Dark, the more I really just have to sit in awe of how genius it is. So many different moving parts, but they all fit together and interact beautifully and thoughtfully. It really is as good as people say!

My local public library has several copies of the Dungeons & Dragons Player's Handbook (5th edition). The librarians have had to list them as "in-library use only", I assume because otherwise people will keep them checked out. So there is now a DnD club that meets at the library.

i always find it funny when people throw out the old "Quantum Bears" bad fair criticism of PbtA games. And then you ask what games they like to play, and their responses all feature the good ol' random encounter table.

For GMs you have Agendas, Principles & Moves - telling you what to do, how & why to do it. The games don't presume you've played or run other games before-they keep it clear so you get up to speed quick. Many PBTA share principles like sharing spotlight-ensuring a group activity.
