So, it's very clear to be there are a ton of recent fans who really came to WWE in the post-COVID boom. They seem to think that 10k+ attendance and sold out stadiums every few months is the norm. It's not. The overall annual show by show average WWE attendance from 1984-2024 is: 6830

Pointing out a pattern in WWE's objectively true behaviour for the last 40+ years, is not crying / complaining. It's always been a company built around serving its own interests (and obviously, that's their right). But it's based upon a overall detriment to the whole industry.

I've been saying it for the last two years. AEW needs to weather the storm that has been WWE's popularity boom. And to do that, they needed to stay the course and focus on being the best AEW they can be. The last few months have been exactly that....

I'm Team Hangman on Sunday. The character's life started spiraling out of control three years ago at Double or Nothing when he lost to Punk. He failed to protect AEW. Winning the title back is the thing that completes that story. He failed to protect AEW three years ago. In Texas, he saves it. 🤼

How is WOW doing these days? Would be very interesting if they expanded operations and made a play for lots of the released talent. I know ratings used to be very good in syndication and levels above TNA.

AEW has shown that partnerships can be extremely PROFITABLE. This isn’t about WWE trying to expand its Mexican audience or whatever other excuse someone can come up with. It’s about domination and Triple H getting back to his dream of WWE global superpower. That’s all it is.
