I knew there was corruption afoot. Former NRA CEO must pay $4.3 million for misappropriating the organization’s funds. The five-judge panel also upheld a 10-year ban prohibiting Wayne LaPierre from serving as an officer or director of the NRA.

I had to look up the streetview on this... I can almost understand accidentally getting into the tracks portion when it's at ground level, but to see the tracks rising up without pavement ahead of you and to keep driving? That's...awesome, really. In the original meaning of awesome.

Lentils, pigeon peas, other legumes and pulses. They fix the soil, too, and help prevent erosion. They're good sources of protein. In a sane world, society would see the writing on the wall, and end the inefficient practice of growing crops to feed animals to eat, and switch to a plant-based diet.

Variations of this question are proof of the lack of awareness possessed by those asking it given that a vast majority of non-vegans also eat vegan food! Vegetables, fruits, breads, rice, beans…the list goes on and on. They probably eat a wider variety of vegan foods than they do non-vegan foods! 🤷🏻♂️

Although ammonia emissions will be worst where there is intensive livestock farming, they travel and often co-create the worst air pollution in cities too. And livestock, especially ruminants, also produces methane, which causes ground-level ozone, harmful to us, animals and plants!

Often, when I'm out walking the farm, I'll just sit awhile and drink in the changes. Like in this spot where the foreground is rapidly transitioning from species-poor grass and bracken to megadiverse habitat, crammed with inverts, birds, and other wildlife. Rewilding is a soul tonic.
