Haven't had many clear skies lately, but tonight obliged so I pointed a camera at comet C/2025 R2 (SWAN). 16 6-second exposures, ISO-1600, f2.8. In the photo, SWAN is comparable in brightness to M22, but through 9x63B, it was more like M23 appears in the photo. 🔭

Aaannd... the young photographer at The Daily Planet is toting a brand-new Praktica L plus Domiplan lens, with toy flashgun. I reckon Weegee would be turning in his grave (but still getting the shot). #BelieveInFilm

I love prunes, but sometimes they're too dry & hard, so a tablespoon* or so of sherry** is needed, to moisten them. The latest bag was so dry that I gave it a second dose, and when that wasn't sufficient, I thought "fuck it, more sherry, and brandy". * British, US, whatever. ** Not from Jerez 1/2

Just managed to set up Hyper-V running XP on my Win 11 PC, to run an old 32-bit CAD program. Trouble is, the mouse cursor motion is vertically inverted: up is down, and (for the sake of clarity) down is up. L-R is fine. Suggestions, anyone?
