Movie day. Do like Tibbs and Gillipsie's dynamic. Gillipsie knows he needs Tibb's help, but doesnt want to admit it. And Tibb just feels confident in himself and his work, he doesnt feel a need to prove anything to these people, despite what Gillipsie tells him.

Rereading Golden Wind I feel like Buccerati may be one of my favorite stand users in the way that he does push his simple ability to its limits in a fight. Using it for stuff like dodging hits or movement tricks.

Recently, Egypt of all things. Writing a paper and typo'd it as "Egpyt" at least ten times.

Playing Atomfall. Like it a lot so far, is clearly inspired by Stalker but leans less into the combat aspect and more into "investigating the mystery." May just be early game charm though, will see how it turns out.

Trying that Aphelion game off gamepass. Its decent, maybe a little restricted in terms of movement options. My only real gripe though is it has a case of "protagonist has to talk or comment on something every 10 seconds." Don't really get any time to just take in the environment for yourself.

Jean and Nadia are such a perfect match as leads. Both of them are different forms of ideallist. Jean is a sometimes naive optomist, seeing science and discovery as a way to a brighter future. He loves all the new tech he sees, even as he is made to understand it has more than just benefits.

I love the soundtrack in "Secret of Blue Water" so much, brings so much energy or "quiet contemplation" to scenes that fit them perfectly. Really feels fitting for Jean and Nadia's coming of age which is at the emotional core of the story.

Thinking about the Patlabor CLAT episodes again. Theyre just such fun little pastiches Feels like the staff just want to take a break and parody/homage some of their favorite shows for a bit.

found out about the manga kuma gurashi which is like those ones where a manic pixie dream girl comes into a salaryman's life and starts doing all his domestic chores for him to heal his heart except in this one it's a realistically drawn bear and the salaryman is terrified on every single page

Did a quick "Very Easy" run on Tanker to get some of the Dog Tags. Did feel cool to get a sub- 1 hour time. Made some dumb mistakes from being overconfident though. Just walked into the explosive tripwire in a rush

Metal Gear Solid 2 is one of those games I think I could play endlessly. Is one that I boot up at least one a year since first got the Master Collection. Snake Eater is good, but I find myself coming back to it less, partially because this release lacks the bonus missions.

Watched Tourist Trap today. Is definitely a slasher that makes the most of a small cast. Made for a very enjoyable slasher, even if it was a bit "tame" in terms of blood. Plus I really enjoyed the killer going "dumbass, that gun has blanks" before getting whacked with the butt of a shotgun.

Really enjoy Wally's reaction too, he doesnt want to be mean to a friend, but he clearly doesn't know how to react. He ends up accepting it in the end, but he is forced to confront his own biases.
