Stumbled across Jokers Wild on Rewind TV. Tense. Fellas furiously smoking, trying to out-joke each other. Les Dawson and Ray Martine clearly don't like each other. Les is funniest but rudely interrupts Ray who gives him the Paddington stare. Charmless Ted Rogers with his plastic hair.

Wedding Present musical: lovely but flawed. The actors/musicians are great. The arrangements are fab - some duets, some fast songs sparse & slow. The songs never feel shoehorned into the plot. But the plot feels contrived at times and the start is clunky. Nice Keir gags.

A local corner shop is to stop selling newspapers from today. I reckon about two-thirds of shops near me that sold papers before Covid have stopped selling them. I still think newspapers are the best way to read lengthy news reports/features or stumble across great pieces/pics.

Loved Dennis Morris' exhibition at The Photographers' Gallery. Marley & the Pistols pics are the headliners but there are some wonderful portraits of people in his studio and out and about - eg the lad with his sisters and briefcase looking slightly weary about having to look after his siblings.
