Yesterday I participated in the Christmas Bird Count at Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge with some other amazing queers and getting to bird parts of the refuge not open to the general public was absolutely an amazing privilege! #birds

My first CBC event was good for solo. I birded by foot for 9.05 miles in around 5 hours and tracked 517 individual birds spanning around 30 species. I look forward to CBC for the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge next weekend. #birds 📸 Mourning Dove
