Good Lord. I’m getting my hair done and the hairdresser has taken it upon herself to tint my eyebrows. I have very fair eyebrows. I currently look like Groucho Marx.

My biceps and triceps have just said, “Fuck you!” to me as a result of my workout yesterday. But I’m sweet talking them. Because tomorrow is going to be even worse.

I have the perfect Halloween costume for the baby shower I am set to attend at the end of this month. I must give credit where credit is due. My youngest was at a Halloween store and FaceTimed me crying real tears of laughter. There was one left. It is so perfect, it’s ridiculous. I am ready.

I don’t wanna get out of bed. It’s dark and rainy and the weather wants me to stay here. If only my dog’s bladder got that memo.😂

All three of my kids have someone special in their lives right now. It means the world to see someone liking them as much as I do. Come what may, right this second is magic.

The problem with me avoiding news is that I wasn’t aware that Canada Post was in the wheelhouse to go on strike a couple of weeks ago. I sent out a wedding present to the U.S. - 12 hours before they announced it. Who knows when it’ll be delivered? Might be a Happy 1st Anniversary M&M!😂 #BWG Sigh.

Like I’ve mentioned, the algorithms have figured out my demographic. I’m getting a lot of anti-aging skincare ads. Having watched a few, I am reasonably certain I could smear cooking oil on my face and achieve the after shot of some of these products.

I know better. I just worked out for the first time in a while. I’m 54, not 24. But my head forgets this as I worked my arms to complete failure. Steering a car might be a problem tomorrow and getting a mug to my mouth might be a problem the day after tomorrow. The bright side? My legs are fine.😂🙈

My daughter picked up the abstract resin painting I made for her new house yesterday. I love abstract. It can look like a jumbled, colourful mess, but that’s life, isn’t it? And we all see different things in it. I call it, “In the beginning…” because it reminds me of a meteor starting things anew.

You can save so much money when you cook at home. I whipped up egg, cheese, tomato on sourdough with avocado and fruit in less than 10 minutes. We would have had to wait in line to get in a restaurant on a Sunday and paid through the teeth for this. Leaves more time for a conjugal visit.
