I'm shaved, I'm ready. For battle.
it is really fucking insane that NATO went ahead and decided to more than double the military budget target from 2% of GDP in 2014 to 5% this year. Russia's is ~6-7% in the middle of a war and China's is under 2%

theres something really special about the bsky user. like have you ever played the game of responding to someone with the most uncharitable reading of what they said? "you're asking me to take out the trash? you don't think women like yourself are capable of doing that? internalised misogyny..."

95% sure I just saw a fox strolling through the middle of campus and unfortunately spooked a poor woman walking towards me by saying "I think that was a fox!?" before I noticed she had headphones on

it’s hard to talk politics anymore because the natural response to everything is “oh they should be killed” but you’re not allowed to say it. it’s more illegal than open pedophilia

people say "enshittification" too much when they just mean everything is cheap (not inexpensive or affordable) now. getting nickel and dimed for every component of a plane ticket? cheap. colour banding in the sky on a photo i uploaded to social media? cheap as fuck

fixed a 3d printer at work that had seized by just... pushing on the seized part until it started moving again, then relubricating it all. had already filed a support ticket and the response when i told them what i did was basically "that's fucked up but ok i guess?"

this is a video posted by the Toronto police association. if you set aside the fact that this is a march for a cop that crashed his car choking on a hot dog, which is very funny on its own, this is the worst marching discipline I've ever seen in my life. I'm fucking crying

We drain bogs as wastelands. Our language scorns them. But they have both warmed and cooled global climate. They can tame massive wildfires or keep them burning all winter long. This month, a bog took several military lives and swallowed a powerful armored vehicle. Boglands will have their say.
