Polar Opposites continues to be a delightfully charming, and surprisingly positive and insightful little rom-com. I love the entire cast, particularly these two, who would make for a great comedic gem pair in Land of the Lustrous.

The think I keep thinking about Jujutsu Kaisen is that The Shibuya Incident is basically an attempt at cheating and pulling a Chimera Ant Arc, without any of the character work or even arc build up that went into making it so effective.

It's genuinely a shame Jujutsu Kaisen has just devolved into a bunch of shock and awe moments tied together by string.

I'm now catching up to Frieren and Jujutsu Kaisen now that my rewatches of their previous seasons have been completed or aborted.

Ikoku Nikki nails the intimate details of family members growing up and becoming distinct enough from one another to create an ever-present sense of alienation, made all the more suffocating by forced familial bonds that forces you to be aware of everyone's inescapable quirks & faults (& vice-versa)

I kinda agree going the Orange cgi route was a bad choice for Trigun Stampede, just not for the whiny brainrot "3D bad!" nonsense from some quarters Rather, it's that the approach is so costly & time consuming, that it demands cutting material for series with lots of detail-heavy single-use designs

I rewatched all of Trigun Stampede before diving into Stargaze, & I have to say the latter episodes of S1 have impressed me far more this time around, with Stargaze so far keeping up that momentum.

This does beg the question: Is Uru in Blue anime's Beyond Good & Evil 2? Does Yuri on Ice: Ice Adolescence have the potential to be The Last Guardian, or is it forever doomed to be Orson Welles Don Quixote? And what the hell is the equivalent to Duke Nukem Forever? Mysteries.
