But as someone who's worked with that QA team, I'll say they're unsung heroes who truly play a huge role in maintaining SE's reputation for high quality locs and to attempt to replace them with AI is deeply insulting.

As someone launching a magazine, I'll echo @harleygin.bsky.social - it's a hell of a lot of work to do this four times a year. I do hope this leads to them remaining a sustainable publication, though, as we need more print media in this day and age, especially.

For our annual comic convention my hometown hosted a mini exhibit on Akemi Takada, artist and character designer for many iconic anime of the 80s, like Creamy Mami and Kimagure Orange Road. Witnessing so many iconic artworks in person was breathtaking.
