Revell Corvette is finished, not a bad kit there were some fit issues and my inexperience with BMF let the model down a bit.

Ran out of steam to paint the camo pattern on the second figure's jacket because I spent SO LONG getting the base to look like Syrian sand and dirt. Still not sure I achieved it, but no matter. It's done. Thanks for following, #histscalemodels

Got the ZPU-2 base coated and chipped. Successive tones of AK Real Color 4BO lightened with buff did the trick. Moved onto painting the sighting mechanism which makes me wonder if I should have done this in sub assemblies! 😵 #histscalemodels

Progress so far on the 1:24 Airfix Mustang. All the cockpit parts are done, the pilot needs some work, some green in the lower engine bay. All the other internal bits are done. It's been flash nightmare, other than that ok. All dry fit seems fine, but it does until its glued. #histscalemodels

Konflikt 47: I painted up another 6-man squad of US Inf for my K47 army. I really enjoy painting WW2 miniatures, which I didn't think I would. I also love the faces of these chaps, so much character! I particularly like the head of the bloke with the BAR, having a sly fag.👍

So, Andy's sent me this 1/72 T-72 from Meng instead of what I actually ordered. They made it right in the end but I had this non-standard scale kit lying around... It was a joy to build; a suberbly engineered little gem. Looking forward to painting and setting it in a vignette. #histscalemodels
