Fencing is definitely a sunny day job

So on hot days I find the best thing to do is build and paint MDF buildings outside. Hopefully this will put a bit of a dent in the MDF pile 😂

So today’s hobby challenge. This was the first fantasy house I tried to paint. (Few years ago now. Primed white and tried to use contrast paints.) decided it looked shit so it has spent all this time in a box. Don’t really want to spray it black and start again. what can I achieve with a make over 🤔

Even with a big make up brush it’s taken a while to get this lot all base coated.

Definitely the ugly phase. But trust the process. So Vallejo US field drab for the sand, GW Mech. standard grey for rocks and stone, sea is Army Painter The Darkness from the John Blanche set. Citadel base brush just brilliant for small terrain pieces
