Bonsoir
#histscalemodels
crew. Here is my choice for
#BastilleBuild
It is a French Vampire, my favourite plane. Hopefully I can do it justice. This will also count towards my
#buildthestash
target as I had planned for this last year. ππ All the best to fellow group builders. π

Right! The
#BastilleBuild
, in
#histscalemodels
starting whistle sprint is on! Just arrived, the Heller twin-engine twin-tail Bloch 174, has also arrived, joining the Heller Breguet 693. A contrast from the tragic Battle of France era. They're going to both be out of the box, albeit with new decals.

That's me starting
#BastilleBuild
with a prototype 405. We have a resin landing gear set to two otherwise crude unnumbered short run sprues by the CZ company RS-Models.

Calling this one done. Xtrakit (ex-Matchbox) Gloster Meteor NF 14. 64 Squadron, RAF Duxford, 1958. Build was a fight and the decals very fragile. I've defo built better. First time I've used Hataka paints. I like them. Next one will be better.

It's finished. The most accomplished build I've ever done - a Panther kit given to me as a present in 2024. Hopefully the last Panther I'll ever build! Kit, Zimmerit stickers and photo-etch by Tamiya. Metal tracks by Friulmodel. Cables by Eureka. Art by me (and Earl Cat).

Good evening all. I got sidetracked with an old shelfer, a Dragon kits Ferdinand. Cleaned off the dust, repainted some of the camo and played about with some mud and dirt techniques, which worked well but I will need a lot more practice.
