Finished the Italeri 1:24 Willy's Jeep. Decided to do it a bit different and finished it a follow me vehicle. Basic kit with a pait job and some different decals. The follow me board is a piece of old bank card And mounted on 1mm brass rod. Enjoy #histscalemodels #scalemodels

Inspired by @richardjdeacon.bsky.social to try an EMHAR model kit and being quite taken by the AK xTreme Metal effect on the Liberator ( #HeaviesGB video is in the making process), this is next on the bench: #histscalemodels

Did you miss me? Current status. It was a silver monster, then a lumpy blue monster (masking tape) now a shiny black lumpy monster, but I'm surprisingly pleased to be here - nearing the end of the build and (fingers crossed) the end of #HeaviesGB in #histscalemodels, thanks, @jaaaagirr.bsky.social!

In continuation of the #HeaviesGB 1/72 KC-135A build, which I will able to finish only through divine intervention, which is nice, here's the process of restoring the rear fuselage re-enforcement ribs which were sacrificed earlier in order to remove the top fuselage seam line. #histscalemodels

1/72 B-24J Liberator, version is 852nd BS, 491st BG, England, Autumn '44. My 3rd and last entry for #HeaviesGB within the #histscalemodels community.

Next up in #histbookchat in a kindle edition of the Defence and Fall of Singapore. First chapter in this is very promising, as it sets the scene with the inherent flaw of setting up a far eastern naval base in the treaty period, with Japan being still an ally.

#heaviesgb #histscalemodels I'll stop with the old Hasegawa B-17G as I've reached the tipping point where anything else is likely to make it worse. Maybe a little too tan for my liking, but a fun kit to build. Wrong rear turret, likely didn't have the red flashes, but it looks decent to civilians 😜

Right, that is me done with the Airfix Shackleton. A very good kit, great decals and in the end a good looking plane. A few mistakes and a few things I will do differently next time but overall happy with how it's turned out. #histscalemodels #HeaviesGB

Soviet SU-18 self propelled gun. It never went into production, top heavy, narrow gauge and only held 4 shells. Prototype roll out day, 10th October 1930, the ever-present commisars are not happy. Kit by HobbyBoss 1/35. Loved making this little one. #histscalemodels
