A good couple of days on the #routemaster seats fitted, panels for the conductors area completed. The inner geek (aka professional bus driver) has spotted one error that would prevent the bus being legal for use. Sadly I can’t do much about it in this case 🤣 #histscalemodels

The #routemaster is progressing slowly, all lower deck seats made and half have the decals applied, they look very realistic. Next jobs, finish the seats and fix, then start on the back section.

So the #routemaster is benched, I have been asked to do a dio for one of the authors of the book detailing the last flight of a 617 sqn Lanc. The difficulty is that it is a tallboy Lanc and kits are few and far between, still I have found one! I also have a tallboy so result 🤣 #histscalemodels

Bear Day 1. Yesterday. Fill a few mould marks, start building up the green colour for the inside, no interior but colour will still be visible through the screen. #heaviesGB #histscalemodels

I think I can safely say it is basic, no interior etc, that said it is a well made, undistorted kit with functional surface detailing. Decals are a little thick but this is 1973 GDR technology. Photo shows all the components and instructions on one side of A4 #heaviesGB #histscalemodels

Has anyone used the VMS no peel primers? I am having issues with the primer peeling off, parts are usually washed in warm water and washing-up liquid, are there better solutions to this? #histscalemodels
