Zombie command, 28mm Wargames Atlantic plastics converted with wargames Atlantic skeleton, Irish & Persian weapons & shields to create command figures for my zombie units. Converted 30 to mix in with the 90 unarmed ones I have to give me the option of three BIG units of them!!

Something a little different, painted up a couple of archery targets and a couple of wagons. These are 28mm MDF from @warbases.bsky.social - I added the arrows which came from the spares box!

Finished the first 2 duellists. Finish the basing tomorrow. And an excellent evening at Bay Games with Pocket Midgard where mine and Lawrence's Order of the Whatever (Crusader types with magic) stomped Rhod's stumpies. #wargaming #midgardheroicbattles

Managed to finish painting my Toldi 2 & CSABA Armoured Car for my Bolt action Hungarians. Both kits from warlord games.

Lacking mojo the last few days. So went to the attic with the intention of clearing desk and making a plan! First thing I picked up was a zombie head in tricorn. Then spent an hour faffing with some C18th zombie/revenants... And thought I better do a bit on the duellists and pirate. #wargaming

Slowly getting back in to my reading. Finished Master and Commander. Took a while to get into but by the end I almost knew what most of the sails were! Decided to move straight on to Post Captain while the terminology is still fresh. And good background for the upcoming Full Nelson rules. #wargaming

I’m calling this finished! The new plastic 28mm PAK40 from Warlord painted as a Hungarian gun. Really like the plastic gun, I’ll be all over the Soviet ones when they release them!! Videoed the process so I’ll get that edited and up on YouTube over the weekend.

Rattenkrieg project: I’ve now finished the first squad of German veteran infantry. I used The Army Painter’s Historical range, namely the WW2 German set for these minis. The paints are quite smooth and give good, full coverage. Two more squads to go and then the command unit.

Last of the Prussians painted tonight, I’ll get the battalion based tomorrow and post some pictures. 28mm plastics from HaT Miniatures.

Sad news about the passing of John Blanche, someone who certainly had a big influence on many in the hobby. Condolences to his family & friends.

Painted up the plastic PAK40 from warlord last night. I’ve painted it to use with my bolt action Hungarians - hence the brown uniforms Ok, the German & Hungarian uniforms aren’t “identical” but they are similar enough at 28mm scale to not matter “that” much on the tabletop!

Team Yankee game at the club last night, my Soviets took on a British force. I thought the Challenger 2’s would be a problem but a brave flank move by two BMP3’s knocked out two from the side which really helped!

Another evening at the club playing Pocket Midgard wherein my dwarves got totally stomped. Losing my CinC to a double 1 risk to hero roll and several 10-14 dice combats with zero or minimal hits didn't help. Also did a wee bit more on the wee fellas... #wargaming

Ok, I know it’s still a small channel but I’ve just hit 100 subscribers on YouTube!! I’m well happy with that! And very grateful as well - a big thank you to everyone who has subscribed and watched my videos!

I’m far too accustomed to getting up early on a Monday so took advantage of the bank holiday to have an early morning walk in the sun followed by kit bashing some wargames Atlantic zombies with bits from the Irish, Persian & sekelton sets to make some zombie commander figures.

Tanking advantage of the sunny weather to get the bloodbowl tombkings undercoated. Not sure when they’ll get painted but at least they’re ready!!

Mixed bag on the hobby front this weekend, 28mm Prussians from HaT prepared for undercoating tomorrow, a couple of 28mm Hungarian vehicles for bolt action, also being sprayed tomorrow and finally, the 15mm Soviets I painted last week have been based.

I do like to see the Friday email from wargames Atlantic, although it always has stuff I want to get! This week, dark age cavalry, perfect for my hail Caesar projects and the damned, not something I’d normally like but they have bloodpact written all over them!!!

An that’s the last of the 15mm Team Yankee Soviet motor rifle battalion painted. I’ll get them all based over the bank holiday weekend. I really like these plastic battlefront figures so will get another at some point, along with more T80s Next week I’m painting 15mm and 28mm Napoleonic Prussians!
