Let’s start the day off right with my battered Sherman for the #FestiveTankChallenge took the opportunity to try all sorts of different things on this, I think I’ll go back over my Soviet tanks and add some weathering after doing this!

People rightly go bananas for the Rubicon kits, but I still have a soft spot for the early Italieri/Warlord kits that assemble inside of an hour. I get the appeal of having the nicer models (I've got a few painted on the shelf!) but for a wargaming tank, I'm not as fussy. #FestiveTankChallenge

Of course! The K47 turret is a single piece! Alright, 3 but mostly 1 big bit. The point is that 3d printed easy 8 my friend did for me that has a broken turret can house this! Probably will need to pick up the new K47 book now but suddenly I have TWO tanks for the #FestiveTankChallenge

Ha ha, I had a night off the booze for dad taxi duty and was about to get started on #festivetankchallenge, however realised I have no ABS cement for this Rubicon kit. Glue due Tue. Gonna be a Kiwi Sherman for Tunisia rather than my original plan for a Soviet Emcha.

I was at a loss for a while, seeing tons of folks posting their VC builds for the #FestiveTankChallenge - I've already got a VC for my Kiwis, so I figured I'd tackle something slightly different. Any Sherman variant, @tomjmegan.bsky.social? :D Time to bury this M4A9 in stowage!
