John Cruickshank VC has sadly passed away at the age of 105. He piloted a Catalina flying boat that sunk a U-boat. In the process John received 72 wounds, 2 serious wounds in the lungs and 10 penetrating wounds in the legs, but still managed to pilot the plane to safety. RIP.
