Not loving this years-long trend of laying off game devs and shutting down studios.

Once again, the point of placeholder is to be replaced and thus easy to identify. If you're using machineslop to get "as close as possible" - that's not "placeholder", that's either being incredibly ignorant or being a liar hoping to get away with it. There's really no third option.

I was in multiple rooms at GDC where management of games studios let their hair down and said "everyone's using it, gamers hate it so we just have to hide it now", but none were actually able to explain if and how AI were making games faster to develop or better at all

If you acquire a company and mismanage them to the point there are mass layoffs or a closure, I firmly believe there should be strict penalties and fines. This is specifically about PlayStation, but it goes for every industry. Why is this allowed?!

Live service games were a mistake.

If PlayStation increases PS+ prices after what they just did, I'm unsubscribing. You don't get rewarded for making bad business decisions and ruining developers' lives.
