Nintendo caught way the heck up in terms of processing power for a console, and it's still managing to sell incredibly well, despite criticism and grifting from fans or haters. Honestly, the Nintendo brand just has incredible staying power against all possible odds.

Found a few ebay listings for amiibo cards from the Street Fighter series, and I think I may be able to order one per month until I have the full playable roster from Years 2 and 3 of SF6's DLC. I also found out they're unlikely to be damaged by Sharpie, so there's autograph potential right there.

Anyone ever notice that the original Frosty the Snowman is actually kinda messed up? The little girl is on the verge of freezing to death, the Magician deliberately puts out the fire that's saving her, then locks them both in a greenhouse where she watches Frosty die. It's quite brutal, really.

I should try playing Balatro at some point. It feels like a game I could get into. But I wonder, should I try investing in a game that is so famously addictive?

I can think of, like, five or six series on this list that may actually be acknowledged as Anniversary years. The rest are pretty much just crossing fingers.

It's interesting to compare the Ron Howard and Chuck Jones versions of the Grinch, because Howard's Grinch was ostracized since childhood and later viewed Christmas for its consumerism rather than the joy it brings people, while Jones' Grinch just wants some peace and quiet.

Similar to how Switch 1's sales drop the price of first party games by 30 or 33% to bring them close to $40, I'm hoping Switch 2's first party discounts are 35% so the price comes to $45.49. For a number of games, I feel like that would be more justified than paying the full $70.

I like that, among the Rival interactions in Sonic Racing Crossworlds, Vector has a flustered animation exclusive to Cream and Zazz has an intimidated animation exclusive to Zavok.

An example of how 2025 has affected my mental health; Some days, I feel like I'd be better off working at a grocery store than trying to purse the very often thankless and fruitless career as a creative. Maybe I'd be more fulfilled just interacting with people and on my feet all day. I dunno.

As I've previously stated, I'm not really hooked in by Mario Tennis Fever. While I compliment it for having more at launch than Aces, I don't see enough in terms of multiplayer to make it a launch purchase. If a new Mario Strikers takes the same approach, however, that'd be a different story.

It's crazy how dreams are able to gaslight you for a few hours. Like, it can actually make you think certain characters are playable in Smash Bros., when in fact they are not. Sorry, Tails, Blaziken and Blaze the Cat. At least mods exist.
