I'm just about done with this current batch of episodes of Pokemon Horizons, and I'm thinking I might cancel my Netflix membership again, only resubscribing when new episodes of certain shows (or movies) catch my interest. I figure it's better to save money by exercising a rather weird practice.

So that now makes three Nintendo characters that are called Cappy. The hat from Mario Odyssey, the Mushroom from Kirby Air Riders and Pokemon Horizons having Katy call Captain Pikachu that as an adorable nickname. At this point, it's as much a staple as a floating head and hands.

Watching Pokemon Horizons not too long after watching One Piece is kinda jarring, because you can ABSOLUTELY hear the similarities between Murdock and Queen's voice portrayals. Major Attaway, ladies and gentlemen.

Not gonna lie; I am absolutely part of that crowd. I'd also like to see more DK characters in the Mario Sports games, but I'll take what I can get.

I should really play the older Fire Emblem games on Nintendo Classics at some point. The Rewind feature is basically similar to Casual Mode, or even the Rewind feature that has been a part of Fire Emblem since Shadows of Valentia.

I will never not love Sonic Crossover art. Honestly, I wish we had gotten art of NiGHTS for Sonic Racing Crossworlds. It seems like that trend stopped with the release of the game.

And that's the Dragon Quest VII Reimagined Demo completed. Took me a little over four hours, but I beat the first major Bosses, and I saved an island in what I can only assume is a time travel plot. Definitely gonna check out the full game when it eventually goes on sale for a lower price.

How the hell is SNK able to put Kenshiro in Fatal Fury, but Capcom couldn't be bothered to actually put Yor Forger in Street Fighter?

Okay, so SNK is definitely teasing the Fighters of Season 2's DLC little by little, and I'm just hoping they actually make Blue Mary playable this time. Still, the tease that Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star might be an upcoming Guest Fighter is incredible. www.youtube.com/watch?v=POgx...

Here's a set of games I realize aren't currently in Nintendo Classics; the NES Zapper or Super Scope set. There are plenty of games like Duck Hunt and Yoshi's Safari that could absolutely work with Pointer controls on Switch and Switch 2. They got a few of those games on Wii U, so why not here?

One hell of an update for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers this month.

About two-thirds into the Dragon Quest 7 demo, and yeah, Derrick of GVG wasn't kidding; this opening is SLOW. Thankfully, this remake is more forgiving than the original PS1 version, but it still takes about an hour and a half before you actually see some monsters. Really, it's the ideal Demo.

What I think the roster of the next Smash Bros. Will look like, looking exclusively at who eould be Veterans from Ultimate's roster. Ultimate is a formula that pretty much cannot be repeated, so I'm thinking there will definitely be cuts. This'll be a long thread. Buckle up.

I don't need to worry about this because I got my download code for the Werehog with my copy of the game, which I purchased in December. People were NOT buying the Switch version at launch.

I think a Final Fantasy VI Remake should be HD-2D.

I find it weirdly hilarious that the competitors for Round 9 are voiced by Chris Hackney, David Hayter and Kira Buckland, three voice actors who have worked for Nintendo at different points. Honestly, my hope for Rauru and Meowscarada joining Smash Bros. to fight Snake just grew even more.

Now that Siegfried has been revealed as a high security prisoner of Tartarus after previously being built up as "the one who will shake up Ragnarok," I'm REALLY starting to question what exactly Brunhilde's motives are in all this.

Remembering a fan who gave Laura Bailey fanart of Tohru Honda giving birth, and realizing just how swiftly voice actors nipped that in the bud.

How soon we get the next Mario Golf depends on a handful of factors; whether Camelot expands on Tennis Fever, potential asset reuse, inclusion of new content, and getting things up to the Switch 2's standards. How soon we get Mario Strikers depends on if Next Level Games is doing Luigi's Mansion.

The next Mario Strikers should bring back not just every playable character in Battle League but also every Captain and Teammate in Charged, with the ability to make literally anyone Team Captain. They should also bring back Boom Boom, Kritter, and introduce Chargin' Chuck as Goalie options.

I'm willing to bet that the next Mario Golf will include every playable character in Super Rush's roster, plus a whole slew of characters new and returning, same as Tennis Fever, with one exception; I think they're going to drop the Mii. It really feels like Miis are being phased out of Switch 2.

This actually hasn't officially been confirmed, but I would genuinely be okay if this game doesn't get DLC or free content updates. This feels significantly more complete than Aces did st launch, and I look forward to seeing how the other Mario Sports learn the same lessons as Fever.

Similar to Marx in Kirby Air Riders, Peter Piranha is both playable and a Boss. Though, because of how Adventure Mode is programmed, I doubt you'll be able to take on Petey as Petey.

I'll be shocked if Beast of Reincarnation isn't announced to be coming to Switch 2 in the Developer_Direct, because we know for a fact that Game Freak has a Switch 2 dev kit.

Honestly, why didn't Sakurai just elongate the Random Button in Kirby Air Riders or Smash Ultimate? It would look weird as hell, but it's better than all that blank space.
