Just watched Blitz by Steve McQueen. An incredible film, highlighting the Black presence before and during the Second World War and the experiences of working class people in East London. Highly recommend!

An incredible morning looking at the archives of Stafford Scott. Community activism before, during and after the Broadwater Farm uprising in 1985.

@oblaize.bsky.social showed this photo at the @1972shp.bsky.social conference 2024 as a way to disrupt the traditional narratives around Rosa Parks. So good to share and discuss it with y11 in our lesson on Black Power today. A picture can change everything and this one certainly did.
