Here I am in 2020 in the flimsiest, most pitful PPE - like so many other NHS staff, some of whom died from the Covid they caught in their hospitals. Tory peer Michelle Mone - who today lost her legal case & must repay the govt £122m - dares to claim she’s been ‘scapegoated’. What, Michelle? 🧵

Asters or Michaelmas daisies provide vibrant, colourful blooms well into autumn and are a vital source of nectar for bees and butterflies at this time of year. Named after the Christian feast of St. Michael (Michaelmas), celebrated on 29 September, look out for them flowering near you.

reflects on today's announcement on the restoration of maintenance grants. When they were abolished, the UK essentially baked inequality into its tax system, with poorer students having to take out larger student loans.
