Evening Angry, care to speculate about what stupid or embarrassing thing Trump will do to screw up the Artemis moon missions next year? I personally think he will bring up the election on a call with an Astronaut while they’re actually on the surface of the moon. What do you think he’ll do?

I don’t know if he’s dying or not, but I do think something is seriously wrong with him. The White House is insulating him more and more, and he’s rarely seen walking anymore if they can help it - almost all of his media availability is done with him sitting. That’s a big difference.

I think they’re trying to set up some sort of excuse for him to step down (probably with a pardon) before the health stuff gets too out of hand. But that’s entirely speculation on my part

FYI, as someone who lives near Lake Michigan, there definitely are ocean yachts on the lake a lot in summer, via St Lawrence Seaway. Chicago and Grand Haven are main ports for the big boats.

I’m really interested in that story. It seems almost too fucking insane to be true, but I can also 100% see Trump being vile enough. I saw a screenshot tonight that suggested someone was willing to testify under oath and/or take a lie detector regarding it, but I haven’t verified authenticity.

I hope so, but Trump and his friendly judges are doing everything they can to prevent that from happening

Appalling is a good way to describe it. North Korea would be jealous of such obsequiousness. Trump is largely kept pretty insulated from people who will tell him the truth. Wiles will sometimes tell him when he’s making an unforced error, but it’s not often.

That 3-hour butt-kissing session called a Cabinet meeting was appalling. To your knowledge, is there ANYONE in Trump’s circle that makes even a rudimentary attempt at giving him a dose of reality? That dares to tell him about bad polls, awful TV ratings, huge anti-Trump rallies, etc.?

The 25th isn’t happening with this Cabinet, and Trump has more chance of becoming the Queen of England than Vance does at being impeached IF the 25th were to happen.

IF the 25th amendment is invoked, how likely is Vance to be impeached?

I’m not aware of any, but, at this point, I’m thoroughly convinced there is no bottom. New low likely coming soon.

I’m really not sure, but someone needs to study whatever the fuck stage of “grief” this is. It’s unlikely anything I’ve ever seen.

Not well - and Putin is taking full advantage of it by bombing the hell out of population centers… again. There are talks of Europe stepping up their contributions and perhaps even offering security guarantees, but it’s still early.

This is perfect. The DOJ's embarrassing snafu with disappearing redactions was the fault of Elon Musk. Musk cancelled government subscriptions to Adobe programs that would have made the redactions permanent. What a pack of fools.
