As someone who hosts a podcast about "games that were special to us", I don't want to limit that to mostly Millennials (like me). Gen Z is starting to get their own nostalgia for games that THEY grew up with. "Retro Gaming" is just the community adopted term, but what it encapsulates is evolving.

2025 was a weird year for me. It was devastating emotionally, to see the pain unleashed on the world, but I also managed to hold onto my sobriety and make a lot of progress on my mental health, being a better person and friend, and other goals I set for myself. So overall a very weird year.

2026 Goal: Re-read Malazan Book of the Fallen, then read all of the books outside of the sequence that I have yet to read (all of them)
