If he's the nominee, I'd still be voting for him. We're potentially talking about the difference between Trump appointing 3 Supreme Court justices versus up to 5. At some point those practical considerations completely subsume any individual features of the candidates. It sucks a lot.

I mean this is exactly the same type of poll Platner released yesterday that everyone said was bad because it was an internal. Being down 5 in two polls in a row is not good for Collins especially if the person you are running against is pretty bad

The thing about 2024 is that Trump was at an advantage because he could point to things people didn’t like and say “I won’t do that, I will do the opposite” The problem is America by and large believed him. Why? I have my theories but I don’t think economics was bad enough to be the main explainer
