The “farmers” Trump is going to bail out AGAIN are more like wealthy farm owners and conglomerates, most of whom voted for Trump despite the fact that he also fucked them over in his first term. This is like welfare for rich people.

Donald Trump is weaponizing the DOJ against his political opponents. Meanwhile, he's gutting the Justice Department’s Public Integrity Section which assists U.S. attorneys’ offices around the country with investigating crooked government officials. "Drain the swamp."

They’re literally giving prosecutors the names of people and organizations, and telling them to go find crimes. It’s clear from the NYT that the directive came from Trump. This is a direct consequence of Roberts explicitly immunizing weaponization of DOJ in Trump v. US.

If a government tells you that you can’t call it authoritarian, it’s authoritarian.

Also: when a government acts brutally and lawlessly and immorally, but tells you that pointing those things out incites violence and terrorism, that government and its agents are entitled to no respect or credence.
