The Liverpool Echo posted the impact statements in full and I read some yesterday. Absolutely harrowing. It is frankly incredible no-one died. I still can't think about it for too long without feeling sick. I was in that crowd, earlier in the day, with my kid.

Just discovered an amazing hack to restore pages you accidentally delete on Canvas (software we use for providing our students the info on their modules). SO a disaster was averted, but I really need someone to tell my heart rate that. The feeling that you've just fucked up is HORRIBLE, isn't it?

Sad to hear Udo Kier has died. I met him once at a breakfast buffet in a hotel in Antalya. We were both there for the film festival. He was in two films at that festival - playing Bela Bartok in a Turkish film about the composer, and Iron Sky (aka Nazis in spaaaaccccceeee).

I absolutely love this kind of COLD crisp bright weather. Except: 1 - when I am experiencing my first ever ocular migraine and 2 - when I am signed up to run a 5k at 2am tonight/tomorrow morning. What the hell do I wear for that?!?

I so nearly wore my fancy wellies today...instead I just walked in my trainers through ice floods in the centre of Liverpool and now I'm on a bus with absolutely sodden and freezing feet. I have failed I think.

I LOVE making risotto. I wish I had more time to, it's my favourite thing to cook. It's also DELISH. Butternut squash and rosemary, or beetroot and feta, so it goes a beautiful pink colour. And then I always think I've made enough for several meals, and I always end up eating it all.

Hello lovely Bluesky. I'm doing this ridiculous run, on the runway of Liverpool John Lennon airport, at 2am(!) to raise money for
@alderheycharity.org
. If you have any spare coin, and fancy donating that would be stellar, it's a brilliant cause. Thanking you.

Booking flights to India. WHY is it cheaper for me to fly to London from Manchester and get a direct flight than it is for me to get just the London to India leg?? It's £100 cheaper, and that's not even taking in to account the trains I'd have to get to London (which would add at least £100)
