…what inspired me was how much of himself he put into the project. We’d never met but he’d call regularly and we’d talk through ideas, and process, and bits and pieces of his life. Esses was small fry compared to where he’d written but he obsessed over every word. RIP to a great dude. I’m so sad.

The moment I got the job at Esses, Kaleb Horton was the first writer I contacted. He didn’t know a thing about F1 but I found the George Harrison idea, and then I watched him dive in.
